Has anyone been induced before?

im due to be induced a week today and im not sure im 100% sure what will happen or if im fy with it, its not a sweep its some sort of tablet or gel (i think) thats inserted up into the (sorry tmi) anyone had it done before? what am i to expect? does it take tong and is it painfull?
