Why are people so mean to gay people?

today i got suspended for 2 days because i was defending a guy who was being bullied at school for being gay...i mean cmon people are such y dont they just leave gay people alone or anyone else it gets me so mad because people need to stop hating people for stupid reasons.....he didnt choose to be gay he is who he is and was born liking guys i mean is that even a good reason to put someone down...im starting to talk to dat dude and he is not even weird or anything people are just stupid..it is tru what they sayNEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER..it sounds retarded but its true people should just start liking eachother for who they r and not for stupid little reasons like him being gay..even if i culd go back in time and change d past i still woulve stuck up for dat dude even if it woulve gotten me suspended i dont kno how im going to tell my mom that im suspended tho cause shes gonna like litteraly gonna kick my ***..lol but yea d point is y r people so mean to gay people?best answer gets 10 points i guess
