What is the part of the train where the conductor is called?

The controls of a train are located in the cab. Usually the same terminology applies, whether you're talking about a locomotive or even a streetcar. In all cases, it is the engineer, operator, or motorman [in the case of a streetcar] who occupies the cab and drives the train. The conductor is the boss on board the train, but does not operate any controls. Conductors are mostly a thing of the past since the retirement of cabooses on most railroads.
