Saving for marriage, but what are the true gory details?

Okay, I'm 12, just to clear that up for everyone. And I believe I'll be able to digest the details better if I have about 8 years to ponder. So I pretty much know the basics (, the 'cherry' popping, etc.) but I really want someone to answer my questions, and my parents are kind of squeamish. Don't give me any crap about being too young for this, my older sister was a addict at age 8, I don't want that kind of stuff happening to me because I think is some kind of taboo, so any information adults think I need would be appreciated.
