I can find these � � symbols on the word processor and start page How do I put them on the face of a picture?

I have windows XP. I would like to put these symbols on some of my pictures before I post them. Does anyone know how to do this? I have seen this on other pictures. I realize they probably were real but I would like to do this to deter someone from using the pic. If they do, I want my name on it with the symbol next to it..
