How to crystallise lime water? ?

Hey guys, im doing this experiment for work and currently we have water in our water treatment tanks which contains high levels of dissolved lime, once i add acetone and do a jar test to it, the water turns cloudy and im guessing this is due to lime precipitating and its producing lime water, just wondering if there is a way to crystallise lime salts into bigger solids so we can filter the lime out ? any help would be greatly appreciated
