Anyone ever got Pasteurellosis from a cat bite?

I have it. I work for a shelter and a cat bit me 4 hours ago and within 1 hour my hand had swollen and the pain is intense. Went to the doctor and I have Pasteurellosis. Gave me a shot and meds.Have to go back in 2 days. Warning if you ever get bit watch closely. I cleaned the bite well and have been bitten countless times by the cats at the shelter but this...wow! Nasty. Had I not gotten medical attention as soon as I did I would have to have been hospitalized.My hand is still swelling the doctor said by morning it could be hugh! Fun.
